So I was bored the other day and thought, oh, since that election thing is over and done with (I think it was on the news) then there’ll be no more need for Twitter polls.

Therefore, I repurposed them and made something special that a lot of people thought was quite good. It’s  some sort of twenty first century half-arsed homage to those old Choose Your Own Adventure books from the olden days.

It’s nearly half term, folks! Doesn’t the time fly when the kids are out of your way, learning stuff and that.
Soon they’ll be home for another week, complaining about being bored, setting fire to the garden, touching your stuff and getting fingerprints on your playstation discs.
You’re gonna need something to keep them entertained and quiet, and other than call in Mary Poppins or Nanny McPhee or an undercover 1980s action hero, it falls down to you to sort them out.

So, yesterday, as an end-of term treat, we decided to take the kids to Stockeld Park, Wetherby for some sunny day shenanigans. It just so happened that I’d managed to blag free opening day VIP event tickets, but that’s neither here nor there. I’m not going to give a biased review just because they gave me free BBQ, and plied Gem with wine in an actual wine glass (none of that plastic cup nonsense). No siree.

Luckily for them, we had a fantastic time and I don’t even need to be biased. Which saves me from having a moral dilemma.
